Sander, is a co-founder of Languages of Care and is a psychiatrist with dual Board Certification in General Adult Psychiatry and Addiction Medicine. Dr. Koyfman is passionate about the field of Disaster Mental Health; he Co-Chairs the Disaster Mental Health Committee overseeing the work of the Crisis and Emotional Care Team (CECT) at Vibrant Emotional Health. Dr. Koyfman has participated in a number of local, national and international disaster responses – NYC 9/11, Katrina, Sandy, Puerto Rico as well as Sri Lanka post tsunami, Haiti, China and Nepal earthquakes, Maersk Alabama hijacking and others. He is a member of Committee for Disasters and the World at the Group for Advancement of Psychiatry (GAP), Member of the American Psychiatric Association Committee on Psychiatric Aspects of Disasters as well as the Advisory Panel of Disaster Psychiatry – Canada.
Mariya, a co-founder of Languages of Care, is an education professional and a hobby project manager. At LoC, Mariya supports the work of volunteers, coordinates with the leadership team, and does an occasional translation herself.
Over the course of his 25-year career Alex played multiple IT roles, lending his expertise to major financial services and news organizations as well as technology startups.
Alex is also on the advisory council of RIXML.org, contributing to the development of open metadata standards enabling financial research distribution and sharing.
Alex holds a degree in Psychology and Economics from New York University.
Isaac, a co-founder of Languages of Care, is a corporate, finance and compliance lawyer with 25 years of law firm and in-house experience following his graduation from NYU Law. Isaac is responsible for legal, compliance, finance and organizational matters at LoC; during daytime, he is the CLO/CCO at Accolend LLC. Isaac is passionate about public service and has been active in a number of initiatives, including Infocenter BattleForEurope and Infocenter Free Belarus, as well as various fundraising campaigns; he is a proud member of the board of Bedlam Theatre in NYC.
A native of Ukraine and a clinical psychologist, Alexandra leads the team of experts conducting clinical review of completed translations. She is honored to bring her multicultural and multilingual professional experience to aid survivors and refugees.
As the Chief Technology Officer Vladimir is using his 20+ years of industry experience in enterprise level software architecture and development to facilitate the best online experience for Languages of care patrons. He is excited to apply his expertise to such a worthy cause.

Carlene Zincke is a Principal & Senior Vice President with COPE Health Solutions. She is a RN with more than 35 years of clinical and managerial experience. She has more than 15 years in acute care specializing in Intensive Care Services, Leading Teams in Pediatric, Medical and surgical ICU in New York City area public and private sectors, as well as public health.
Ms. Zincke is passionate about caring for those in need and has participated in several local and international activities including Puerto Rico after Maria, medical missions in West Africa and currently in a local food bank in NYC feeding 1500 families weekly since March 2020.
Chris is a licensed clinical social worker with significant experience in the behavioral health space in various senior leadership roles focused on strategic initiatives, operations management, clinical services and business development. He has 30 years of public and private healthcare business and clinical experience with progressive responsibilities in the areas of business development, clinical/organization leadership, business operations, and program evaluation/management. His professional interests include organizational leadership, strategy, and healthcare operations & policy. His personal interests include cooking, travel and hiking.

Bob Manley, a registered nurse for over 35 years, founded PRN Professional Registered Nursing in 1986, offering emergency after-hours coverage to top home health agencies in the New York area. In 2015, he launched Allied Business Associates, a consulting firm aiding Managed Long Term Care Plans in NY. With nine years on the Board of Directors for the MS Associations of America, including a term as Chairman, Manley now also serves as VP for Physician Engagement at RiverSpring Health Plans while managing PRN.

Madeline Teisberg, DO, MS, is a board certified psychiatrist and Assistant Professor at the Uniformed Services University (USUHS). She also completed her Masters in Health Professions Medical Education program at the Uniformed Services University.
As billeted faculty at USUHS, Dr. Teisberg serves as the co-director of the neuroscience module, teaches in the clerkship and engages in research surrounding app-based biofeedback, sleep education and nightmare resolution. She also serves as a member of the APA Committee on the Psychiatric Dimensions of Disasters.
Dr. Allan Chrisman, MD is a child & adolescent psychiatry specialist in Durham, NC. Dr. Chrisman completed a residency at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. He currently practices at Sarah Shook, PhD, PA. Dr. Chrisman is board certified in Child Psychiatry.

Dr. Katz is a Clinical Professor of Psychiatry, Medical Education, and System Design and Global Health at the Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, and the founder and director of Mount Sinai’s Program in Global Mental Health. He organized the psychiatric response to 9/11 in New York City through an organization he co-founded, Disaster Psychiatry Outreach, including founding and directing the World Trade Center Mental Health Screening and Treatment Program for 9/11 responders for a number of years. He has more recently served as Special Advisor to Mount Sinai’s center for addressing faculty, staff ,and trainee mental health and well-being since the COVID-19 pandmeic struck, the Center for Stress, Reslience, and Personal Growth.
Dr. Katz holds numerous positions in the Department of Medical Education, including as a Faculty Advisor for medical students; Co-Director of Global Health Electives; Faculty Director of the mental health program within our student run, faculty facilitated primary care clinic, EHHOP; and Faculty Director for the Human Rights Program’s Remote Evaluation Network.
Sheli is the founder of Journey Forward, with over 15yrs. of experience, and holds a Masters degree in psychology. She specializes in serving BIPOC individuals in the healthcare field working through anxiety, burnout, and post-traumatic growth, as a Certified Clinical Trauma Specialist.
